Youth Nights
WayFYnders have been hosting weekly Youth Nights at Tātou in Glen Innes. As part of Soulfood & Friends and with the shared vision of Tātou, Youth Night is an opportunity to not only nourish our local youth but to provide a welcoming and safe space for them to connect.
If you’re aged between 14-24, then make sure you’re at Youth Night EVERT FRIDAY NIGHT! 133 Line Road, Glen Innes.
We have $5 pizzas 🍕 karaoke 🎤 music 🎵 games, cards 🃏 & much more. This space is all yours to enjoy, bring your friends & we will see you this Friday!
Community Portal To Engage Youth
The purpose of this project was to connect our Tāmaki Community through an online platform that captures all youth related events and experiences. This information is what we use to populate our social media posts.
This was a 2 month project in 2023 that involved our two WayFYnders, Sunipa and Lily-Esmay visiting youth providers in our community. It was a massively enriching experience getting to know everyone, capturing all their info and being the lead collaborator to pull our community together. We have so much going on already and we are still continuing to reach out to other organisations we may have missed.
