The Southern Initiative Visits WAYFYNDERS

We recently welcomed The Southern Initiative (TSI) to the WAYFYNDERS space, giving them a closer look at how our youth programmes are creating real opportunities for rangatahi.

During the visit, guests heard from Lucky Min, who first engaged with WAYFYNDERS through the early enterprise programme Te Ara Maranga. Since then, Lucky has continued building momentum through youth-led enterprise activity including Lucky Eats.

The visit highlighted how programmes such as Te Ara Maranga and PAYRISE work together within the WAYFYNDERS system to support young people through different stages of growth — from personal development and enterprise exploration through to practical work experience and industry pathways.

Moments like this allow partners to see firsthand how rangatahi are building skills, confidence and leadership through real-world opportunities.
