Several young people from PAYRISE Cohort 1 have reached an important milestone — successfully earning their Restricted Driver Licences.

We acknowledge the dedication shown by Coralee, Hazel, Rychys and Ryda in working toward this achievement.

For many rangatahi, gaining a driver licence is a significant step toward independence and access to employment opportunities. It can make it easier to attend work placements, training programmes and other development opportunities.

Through the support of programme partners and the wider WAYFYNDERS network, these cadets were able to prepare for and complete the steps required to achieve their restricted licences.

We’re proud of the effort shown by this group and look forward to seeing future cohorts continue building the skills and confidence needed for the road ahead.
