A new group of cadets has officially begun their journey, with PAYRISE Cohort 2 launching at WAYFYNDERS East.

The morning started with whakawhanaungatanga, giving the wider team an opportunity to meet the new cadets, share the vision behind the programme, and outline what the months ahead will involve.

Each new cohort builds on the learning of the one before it. As part of the WAYFYNDERS system, PAYRISE continues to evolve — refining how we support rangatahi as they develop the confidence, discipline and real-world skills needed for future pathways.

Cohort 2 represents that next step: clearer structure, deeper support, and a strong commitment to helping young people move toward meaningful employment, enterprise and leadership opportunities.
