Tatou Rebrands to WAYFYNDERS East

Our East Tāmaki space has a new name.

What was previously known as Tatou is now officially WAYFYNDERS East — aligning the space with the wider WAYFYNDERS youth development system.

The space continues to be shared with our partners at Everybody Eats, whose community dining initiatives bring people together through food. While both organisations operate from the same location, each brings its own kaupapa and energy.

WAYFYNDERS East is the home base for youth programmes, cadet activity, enterprise projects and community initiatives delivered through the WAYFYNDERS platform. It’s where rangatahi gather to learn, collaborate and bring ideas to life.

The new name reflects the growing identity of WAYFYNDERS as a connected system supporting youth development, enterprise learning and leadership opportunities for rangatahi across the community.

If you visit the space, you’ll start to see the refreshed signage — and the same vibrant energy that has always made it a place of opportunity.
